YES. I have often thought this myself. When Fifty Shades of Grey came out I was like, so? That book’s been out for like a year already. Then I was like….oh…..

…And the paperback of Between Shades came out the same day as the U.S. edition of 50 Shades. If there *are* any good confusion stories, I want to hear them 🙂
I had a similar problem last year when Deep and Dark and Dangerous was on my library’s battle book list:

It caused way too many holds on the wrong book (well, 2, but that’s way too many!) before all the staff members at all the desks got the message.
I STILL have problems with Erin Hunter’s Twilight vs. Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight. “did you want cats or vampires ma’am?”
